The children of P6 & 7 began their participation in the SWEET project today. SWEET stands for Safe, Wellbeing, Exercise & Eating Together. During this 8 week project, the pupils will cover a range of different nutrition topics including the Eatwell Guide, having a balanced diet, sugar activities and making healthy swaps. There will also be some cooking involved where the children will get the chance to get hands on with some handy and healthy recipes. Throughout the programme, there will be fun, active and engaging games to get the the children moving including boxer isle and team combat. Each week will see a mixture of these different element included.
