P6 & 7 visit Omagh Library

The pupils of P6 & 7 visited Omagh Library on Friday 25^th September along with Mr Conroy and Mrs McCann.  They met Julie the librarian who showed them all around the library.  They also learned how books are ordered on the shelves of the library and how to borrow and return books using the self-service system.  Pupils who weren’t previously members of Omagh Library received their membership cards and all were able to borrow up to a maximum of 9 books.  It is hoped that the pupils of P6 & 7 will now become regular users of Omagh Library and all are encouraged to develop their reading further.  As Julie said, “Reading is fun.”
