Tyrone Handball Finals Day
Well done to our male handballers who travelled to Loughmacrory handball alley today to play in the Tyrone Finals Day. There they played against the very best primary school handballers in Tyrone and more than held their own in this company. All of our players gave everything in the pursuit of a county title and played some terrific handball during the course of the day. Thankfully one of our boys came home with the U-13 Singles title and so congratulations to him as he will now go forward to represent the Tyrone Primary Schools in the Ulster event which will be held next month. Another of our boys came home with a silver medal as a runner up in the U-11 Single competition. All of the boys gave a great account of themselves, just coming up narrowly short. Well done again to all and thanks are expressed to Mrs McCann, Mrs Teague, Mrs Kelly & Mr Grimes (parents) who helped with transport on the day.
