Target Boards Fun
Well done to those boys and girls of P6/7 who today took part remotely in the Target Boards activity. It proved to be a great and fun way for the pupils to practise arithmetic, in a way where they didn’t even realise they were working!
Target Boards were completed through the Maths Week website and consisted of a given set of 9 numbers. Using any of these numbers (only once in each expression) and the four operators (+, -, x & ÷), the children had to find out how many expressions they could make that made up the target number.
This afternoon the pupils finished 3rd on the island of Ireland with a score of 80. Well done to all who took part and contributed to this excellent score. The boys and girls are already hoping that we can beat their score again next Friday!
