Amidst all the preparations for our wonderful Christmas production, the pupils of the school didn’t forget the true meaning of Christmas, as they thought about those less fortunate than themselves. Our annual St. Vincent de Paul Christmas appeal produced the usual wonderful contributions from our families, as they donated non-perishable food items which were then arranged into hampers for distribution among the needy families of our parish. A big thank you to our families who brought in the items for the hampers.
At the Nursery’s Christmas play this morning, the local St. Vincent de Paul branch was officially presented with one of our hampers when they called to pick them up.
We hope that our small gesture will help brighten up Christmas for the less fortunate living in our community.
