The children of P6/7 travelled to the Hilton Hotel in Belfast today to celebrate the end of their participation in the Hive Hackers programme which concluded on Monday last. The children enjoyed the Awards Ceremony and each received a medal in a presentation box, as well as a certificate, for their great coding work during the last 7 weeks. They even got to see Mr Conroy, and all the other teachers, dance to the tune of ‘Baby Shark!’ 🙈
The pupils prepared the video below which was played at the ceremony and in front of all the other schools and PwC partners. The video outlines what our pupils learned from the programme and indeed how much they enjoyed it.
Once again, the school wishes to say ‘Thank You’ to PwC, for providing the resources and personnel to help our pupils gain such great experience in the ‘Computational Thinking & Coding’ Desirable Feature, which is our UICT focus for this year.
