P7 Trip to St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh
Our P7 children, along with the P7 children of neighbouring Drumduff and Roscavey Primary Schools, today travelled to Armagh along with Fr Curry to take in the sights of our Diocesan Cathedral. This trip was part of the Parish’s preparation for Confirmation which takes place on Wednesday next (18th March).
Thanks are expressed to Roger who works at the Cathedral for showing the group around and for taking the time to explain all the statues and symbols of the Cathedral and what they meant.
The trip to the city of Armagh finished with a visit to Armagh County Museum which the children enjoyed. They even found an artefact that had been donated by a resident of Clogherney Upper.
Thanks also to Fr Curry who travelled with us and who organised the trip. A great day was had by all.
