Numeracy Co-ordinator Mrs. McGarvey organised a great quiz this afternoon to mark the end of a very successful Maths Week Ireland in school. Pupils from the P5, 6 & 7 classes were divided up into 8 teams and answered questions from across the Mathematics curriculum in a fun way. All teams showed a very high standard of maths knowledge over the hour and the teams' scores throughout the quiz were very close indeed, with 4-5 teams finishing within 2 points of the winning team.
The winning team received prizes which rewarded their success, but all pupils left content that they had pushed the winners very close indeed. Well done to all!
