Numeracy Co-ordinator Mrs. McGarvey organised a great quiz this afternoon to mark the beginning of Maths Week Ireland 2024 in the school. Pupils from the P5, 6 & 7 classes were divided up into 9 teams and answered fun questions from right across the Mathematics curriculum. All teams showed a very high standard of maths knowledge over the hour and the teams' scores throughout the quiz were very close indeed.
The winning team received prizes which rewarded their success, but all pupils left content in the knowledge that they had pushed the winners very, very close indeed. Well done to all who took part.
