P1 boys and girls went for a lovely walk today in our local area as part of their topic, Home Sweet Home. 🏡 🚶♀️🚶
They looked at different kinds of houses and discussed similarities and differences between them, even learning some new words such as detached, semi-detached and terraced. They counted doors and windows, and recognised some big numbers on doors! 🪟🚪
ICT skills were also developed as they had the opportunity to take photographs on the iPads📲
