Gaelic Football Blitz at Garvaghey

P6 & 7 pupils began the school week this morning not in the classroom, but on the fine pitches of the Tyrone GAA Centre at Garvaghey.  Blessed again with great October weather, all pupils played 4 games each against other primary schools, during which they were focusing on putting into practice all the skills they had been working on with their coach Conor Hackett.  As this was an uncompetitive blitz (no medals or trophies yet!), they were able to practise the skills of the game in a fun environment.  Thanks also to parents Mrs K. Farley, Mrs C. Grimes, Mrs H. McCann & Mrs N. McCartan who helped with lifts.
