Cycling Proficiency Success
Congratulations to all the P.7 pupils on reaching the standard required to pass their Cycling Proficiency Test. After 5 weeks of cycling training with Mr. Conroy, the boys and girls were able to complete all the required skills when tested.
The cycling scheme is crucial in helping to keep our child cyclists safe on the roads as it helps to develop their skills and increase their confidence as cyclists. By becoming aware of the right attitude and behaviour of a cyclist, they have developed knowledge of their own vulnerability as road users and it has helped them to identify risks that they, as cyclists, may encounter on the roads.
The children will receive their certificates at the end of year assembly in June. Congratulations to them all!
