Cumann na mBunscol Thír Eoghain Website Launch

Two lucky P.7 pupils from the school joined boys and girls from primary schools right across Tyrone when they attended the launch of the Cumann na mBunscol Thír Eoghain website at Garvaghey.  

Accompanied by Mr. Conroy, they met some high profile Tyrone GAA players including primary school teachers Peter Harte and Niall Morgan, both of whom only last weekend had helped Ireland beat Australia in the International Rules Test at Croke Park.  Both players passed on some very useful advice about football, lifestyle and school work to all the children present.

Also present was Tyrone Senior team manager Mickey Harte who as usual gave some great advice about practising the skills of the game and always trying to improve yourself, in sport and in life.  

Pupils and staff present were given a presentation on the new website which will keep the primary schools across Tyrone updated on what is happening in Gaelic Games.  The website is well worth a look and can be accessed at cnmbtyrone.com.

The pupils are already looking forward to the handball tournaments, more blitzes and of course the Paddy Bogan tournament, all of which will be held in the new year.
