The P3 children who are in the Friday Coding Club got to use a new app called Box Island which was only downloaded in the school this week. It is a charming coding game that takes boys and girls on an exciting adventure, while teaching the fundamentals of coding. The children were able to apply the basics of algorithms, pattern recognition, sequences, loops and conditionals to progress through the super fun and challenging gameplay.
All the P3 children gave this app and the Coding Club the 'Thumbs Up' with two pupils even completing the whole game in around half an hour! Well done to all.
