The children enjoyed some outdoor activities led by Gortin Glen’s forest guide Lynn. They explored the nursery garden and school playground for signs of Autumn and learned about the wildlife around us. They made some ‘Friday treats’ for the garden birds including ‘Ritchie’ the robin, a regular visitor to the nursery garden and also made some nut-free feeders for the school playground.
A big thank you to Lynn for taking the time to visit us in Beragh and we look forward to the Spring term when we can hopefully visit her at the Gortin Glens.
