Y7 Pupils enjoy Gortatole
15th Jun 2016
Y7 pupils & Mr Conroy enjoying the Gortatole Experience!
Washing your own gear is part of your time at Gortatole.
Some dirt was hard to move!!
Buses used when caving had to be cleaned too.
Teamwork in action - helping each other to get into order whilst blind-folded and not allowed to speak.
Working together to make a bridge of blocks to cross the molten lava!
Working as a team using the stompers.
Nightline - working as a team to guide each other through the forest - whilst blind-folded.
Crossing the bridge!
Where is that line anyway?
Helping each other around the tree.
Trying out the climbing wall.
Helmet & harness on, the only way is up.
Hard work this climbing!
The children also had the opportunity to abseil down a smaller wall.
Archery proved popular with the Y7s.
Even Mrs. Maguire gave it a go!
All the pupils thoroughly enjoyed their time at Gortatole.
