Rugby Coaching

P6 & 7 have been finding out a lot about the Rugby World Cup this month as their World Around Us (WAU) topic.  They have been carrying out a variety of rugby themed activities, all of which tie in across the curriculum, with much of their work on display on the classroom wall.  This morning however, they were able to take advantage of the beautiful morning that it was and participate in some introductory rugby coaching.  Thanks to Clive (who is funded through the Active Communities programme) for coming to the school to introduce the game in a fun and safe manner.  The children all enjoyed the experience and now have a better knowledge of the rules to support Ireland in the remainder of the tournament.  All that's left to say is, "Come on Ireland!"
